Facts About Pantego, TX -  Pantego is immediately southwest of downtown Arlington and ten miles southeast of downtown Fort Worth in eastern Tarrant County. Settlers started moving into the vicinity by the time of the Civil War, and the Texas and Pacific Railway had built through the area before 1876. In 1884 Frederick Foscue, a local resident, offered an acre of land for a church and school, with the stipulation that the community name its school Pantego in honor of a trusted Indian friend he had once employed. -TSHA

To succeed in adulthood, a nymph bed bug should shed its skin approximately 5 times. A typical female can lay five to seven eggs each week and may produce up to five-hundred eggs throughout its life of 12 months to 18 months. The eggs will hatch out within 6 to 17 days when they become known as nymphs. Bed Bug eggs are resistant to pesticides or herbicides. Bedbugs hide in beds, carpeting, blankets, clothing, underneath wallpaper, under towels, between window curtain folds, behind wall decors and behind wood furniture. They like to attack during the night and they will remain active until just before dawn. Bed bugs bite exposed skin of a man or woman in an infested bed and leave red-colored itchy dots.
